Explanation of PlugIns System

What the hell is GUAL? Gab User Activity Logger

(Ghoul) is an analytics tool somewhat like what you might find on a server as log files, only it concentrates on profile statistics only. (Public information)
It is meant for monitoring and taking snapshots of profile statistics over an extended period of time. (up to 4 hrs.) In relative time, it displays any changes in the profiles stats. 1/min and every 15 minutes it makes a log entry of the stats. for later overall review. The log can be saved and/or archived also for later comparison against a newer log of the same profile statistics over an even further extended length of time.

Ok, so what good is all that? Well, there are a few feasible concepts.

1 - The marketing aspect, say you're part of a 'News' site and you want to get some kind of an idea about what type of posts get the best results on Gab's platform. Would you get more interaction with say, Govt. statistics posts or better results posting content related to political satire memes? Hopefully you see the point here. as you could post at optimum times for a couple hours with said content, continue logging for a couple more hours and then save the log file for comparison to the next session using different content for posts and the results thereof for comparison.

2 - Analyzing yourself vs. how others do using them as a model for comparison in an attempt to decide on a good game plan for your site/purpose etc., etc...

3 - Long term logging of people possibly abusing Gabs guidelines concerning spam and the use of automated scripts. You may notice discrepancies in short bursts in the log entries, such as a user following 1k other accts. and gaining 200 followers, and then an hour later un-following all but 100 of those who followed him/them back. You may catch a down-vote attack, or an up-vote script being run.

4 - Maybe you're just curious to see what kind of results you get on average when you spend time on Gab. If so, start the program and run it on yourself during your Gab session, then let it run and shut itself off (4 hrs. from start time), check the results when you get back and maybe save the log for comparison vs. a future session.

There are really any number of possibilities, so you decide.
Make your Gab experience your own.

Below are screen captures of my volunteer test subject. lol

Thanks Jan!

Above, the 'Last Check' line between start and stop time, give you a more immediate snapshot of what's happening with the account., as it refreshes once per minute.

The two small numbers atop the scroll bar of the log file are it's count measures, the top number counts to 15, then zeros out and adds 1 to the bottom number. Log every 15 minutes for up to 16 log entries. (4 hrs.)

Below is the saved log file displayed in it's text file form locally inside the logs folder. When saving a log, the log file name becomes the users name combined with their score at the last check of the session.
