| Feb. 18, 2019 |   GabMon updated to version 3.1 

Now available on the download page, includes updated plug-ins.

GabMon 3.1 now escapes the data-type mismatch errors that started occurring after the switch to new hosting providers and being de-platformed. It basically functions just as it did prior to the outage. 

Note: GabMon now contacts only the Gab.com servers as the updating routines within the software have been disabled. Updates will be posted here until/if I decide to re-enable the in application routines in a later update. This is due to my loss of a free sub-domain that was hosting my files. Everything is now being temp. hosted on nofile.io servers.

Note 2: There are two scenarios that might cause errors for GabMon at this point.

1 -  If the servers are being DDoS'd and Cloudflare kicks in the 'browser check' functions in mitigation attempt, in which case you'll simply see erroneous data in the servers response.

2 -  If the DDoS lags to the extent that the server times out in the response process, GabMon will close and stop trying to further access the servers. ( you may lose unsaved data )

GabMon now includes it's own 'PlugIns' system. More information can be found inside the new release via the "?" link to the F.A.Q./help file included w/GabMon and in the new 'PlugIns' area of the site. There are few updates to GabMon base code in general, though the interface has been updated to include the 'PlugIns' handler and it has also been implemented into the system/notification tray routines as well for quick access to the handler. GabMon 3.0 includes the new 'PlugIn' called GUAL (ghoul) Gab User Activity Logger as its initial 'PlugIn'. More details on GUAL are available in the 'PlugIns' area, along with some screenshots of it in action.

Changes to GabMon from 2.1b to 2.2b

* If you're updating from the earlier version, c&p/move your personal lists ONLY
 ( frndslist.txt, gabusers.txt, mutelist.txt and welcome.txt (your quick gab ))
to the new versions 'files' folder within the programs main folder, allowing them to overwrite the new default lists sent with the new version. Delete any shortcuts (desktop/start menu/task bar ) and create a new one if desired from the new main folder .exe file.

Bugfix - Fixed erroneous results when monitoring following count when acct. being monitored had single digit following count.  Also made results box larger to accommodate larger numbers
of followings count w/o being cut off from view. 

Bugfix - Separated containers for receiving results when checking for updates, no longer interferes with any of the monitoring functions if they're running when checking for updates.

Added:

• Options to the 'Post Monitor' tab (the main tab when opening program) for applying the click event on the users list to any of the monitors. If no options are checked, then click event will trigger the name being sent to the 'Profiler' and stats fetched for display on the 'Profiler' tab.
• Added options to auto-start any and/or all the monitors at program start and option to check for updates at program start. These can be accessed in the 'Settings' tab and once saved will apply at next start-up of the program.
• Help/F.A.Q. file accessible from within the program (blue ? in lower right corner), which is now included in the "files" folder within the main folder of the program. To be updated accordingly with new versions.
• Updated 'Post Monitor' and 'Following' alerts to include a .5 second system audible.
• Put a link to the predefined 'Quick Gab" on the main menu (under 'Utilities') and also added one to the right click context menu in the system/notifications tray when the program is minimized to the tray.
• Put a link to the unfiltered feed (gab.ai/search/*) under 'Utilities' on main menu and from the right click context menu when in tray.
• Added more information when fetching 'Profiler' stats. Now shows whether or not the user being profiled is a verified user, pro user, donor, investor and/or premium user. All of these are now displayed results for consideration when you're assessing for following the user back.

GabMon 2.1 (beta) Now available here or from the 'Download' page. 

There have been some minor/major changes in both the functionality and user interface in the new release. 

Added: 

• Multi-threading (multiple monitors simultaneously)
• More customizable 'Profiler' for when assessing recent followers for consideration to your 'Following' list. It now includes hard coded auto-search for goo.gl and bit.ly shortened URL links when assessing profiles, which would indicate the possibility of a 'Porn-Bot' account. You can now also add your own 'red flag' words to the search under the 'Criteria' linked tab within the 'Profiler'.
  
• The banner across the top of the program is now gone, but may be reimplemented as an option in a later update.
• The right click context menu from the system/notification tray now has different functions and will also be updated in the future.
